DeletePls I want to know since Rssda now does the A level which is required by the schools abroad here in Nigeria, will the Nigerian schools which the A level is been done still require Waec only and not Neco also????? Pls reply thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi @Annonymous, thanks for asking. This is a question only the scholarship providers can answer with certainty. I suggest you write them at the address provided above. Address above includes their physical, email and online contact page. Good luck !
DeletePlease when would the names be shortlisted
DeleteHello @Anonymous, you sound in such a big hurry? The scholarship scheme just ended 3 days ago on 31st December. It is worthwhile to note that the 2011/2012 shortlist came out in December 2012 (see Updates on RSSDA Scholarships) AFTER the applicants were contacted.
DeleteFor the 2012/2013, the applications just ended, and I would think you would be contacted soon with the address(es) you submitted. Be patient. The aptitude test would soon be, and then your shortlist would come out. But if you're in such a big hurry, you may go ahead to contact the providers (address in above article).
At the end of the day your Waec will be all that's needed.
DeleteIf u complete the A levels in Nigeria, you will b required to apply for a visa to study abroad, and one of the requirements when applying for a student visa is your Waec seeing as Neco (or a combination of Neco and Waec) is not accepted.
Hope this helps.
The 'A' level programme will be for how many months?
