The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015-2016 list the best global universities and are the only international university performance tables to judge world class universities across all of their core missions - teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
In addition to the list below which is a ranking of the best universities in the world in terms of the perfomance breakdown (i.e. teaching, international outlook, research, and citations); another list of the most international universities in the world in terms of proportion of international staff, proportion of international students and proportion of research papers published with at least one co-author from another country has also been ranked by Times Higher Education.
How you choose your university would depend on what is important to you. Do you want universities that are very 'international' in outlook?
