Scholarship Description
IMD awards a number of scholarships to its international MBA students from various countries across the world. One of such scholarship awards is the IMD MBA Alumni Scholarships.
The IMD MBA Alumni Scholarships are designed to encourage diversity in the class, with each scholarship awarded to a different region of the world.
Eligibility
Candidates who have already applied to the full-time IMD MBA program.
Scholarships are awarded to citizens, but not necessarily current residents, of each of these regions: Asia, Africa/Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Western Europe/North America/Oceania

Method of Application
Before applying for this scholarship, you must have applied for IMD admissions using the MBA online application form by any of the program application deadlines, and been accepted into the IMD MBA Program.
To apply to this scholarship after your acceptance, you must demonstrate financial need by completing the IMD's Financial Aid Application and submitting a 1,000 word essay. Essays should be personal and visionary, and include a clear description of how the solution could be implemented in a sustained manner. Essay topic to write on is: Identify one issue in your region / country which you consider a priority to address. Why would you choose this issue? How would you, as a business leader, personally address it and ensure your action has a sustainable impact?

DEADLINES:
Apply for IMD admissions by any of the following application deadlines: February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1 and September 1 every year. The deadline for scholarship applications is 30 September every year
PLEASE NOTE:
For essays, draw on your own experiences in your answer, rather than on general, broad statements. The committee is looking for essays that are personal, visionary and demonstrate leadership, which include a clearly articulated description of how the solution could be implemented.
