Scholarship Description:
Postgraduate Assistants will be required to register for a Doctoral or Master’s degree at Unisa in the Department of Information Science. Applicants are required to indicate in detail on their CVs the extent to which their qualifications and experience meet the requirements of the post as set out below.
The Degree programme may focus on any one of the following:

• Archives and records management
• Information and communication technologies
• Knowledge Management
• Information organisation and retrieval

Requirements:

(i) For the doctoral student:

• A relevant master’s degree in Library/Information Science from any Institution recognised by UNISA Senate and with an overall average of 60%,
• Applicants must be South African citizens.

(ii) For the master’s student:

• An Honours degree (or equivalent) in Library/Information Science from any Institution recognised by UNISA Senate and with an overall average of 60%
• Applicants must be South African citizens.
