Scholarship Description:
The Shastri Institute will provide up to $1,200 to fund 50% of the scholar’s total travel costs (NB costs for visas, meals, per diem and accommodation are not eligible).

A total of $10,000 is available for these grants in 2010-2011 (for July 2010 applicants).

Eligibility:

• Grants are available to Canadian scholars for travel to/and/or in India and to Indian scholars for travel to/and/or in Canada. 
• Applicants must have been invited to participate by an academic institution and be affiliated with, or travelling to a Shastri Institute member institution
