This is a Call for the Scholarships for Postgraduate studies at University of Cape Town for the study of Languages.
The University of Cape Town is pleased to offer the Lestrade Scholarship for the Study of Languages.
Applications are invited from the students who will register full time study at University of Cape Town for the study of Languages from the linguistics rather than the literary aspect.
Eligibility
Applicants must register for full time studies at University of Cape Town for the study of Languages. The study of Languages from the linguistics rather than the literary aspect is strongly preferred.
Preference will be given to students who are conducting Linguistic study of the indigenous languages of Africa

Method of Application
Interested applicants will need to fill in correctly a scholarship application form. The application form can be obtained from the postgraduate funding office and from the administrative office in the school of languages and literature’s in the faculty of Humanities.
Students requiring a renewal for lestrade Scholarship should clearly mark as the renewal in the space provided on the application form and to attach a progress report.
