As a mark of commitment to internationalising the University of Nottingham's community of students and to encourage diversity among the student body, the University of Nottingham is able to offer a wide range of international scholarships.

The University of Nottingham Duke of Portland Developing Solutions Scholarship is a Full Tuition Fee Scholarship which is available for a student from Africa for the MSc in Crop Improvement School of Biosciences.

Eligibility
You can apply for this scholarship if you:
  • are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Africa; AND
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes; AND
  • already hold a full-time offer to start the MSc in Crop Improvement at Nottingham in September 2013.

The Duke of Portland Developing Solutions Scholarship covers 100% tuition fees. It is a Full Tuition Fee Scholarship.

Applicants for competitive International Office scholarships must first have applied for and obtained an offer of study at Nottingham. It is very important you complete your form correctly before you submit it – we are not able to change your online application once you have submitted it.

  1. Please only one scholarship slot for the whole of Africa is not fair. We need help, please increase our slots to a minimum of 500 for african students. Thanks

  2. Meen, can you imagine? These whiteys take us for granted o!
    So a whole university of Nottingham wants to sponsor Agricultural science, and it is ONLY one space they see fit to sponsor across the length and breadth of Africa, eh kwa? Shame on them! A very big shame on them!!
    Please webmaster, don't advertise this their useless scholarship for them. Let them do it themselves!! If you must do it for them, please charge them wella wella. Imagine the rubbish
