    1. Well, your course, Development studies, is sponsored BUT at the masters level.
You are a PhD student, right? Well, rather unfortunately, this scholarship is for masters level students.

This is not a PhD level scholarship.

    1. Hello, OFID awards scholarships to any relevant field related to development and in line with OFID's core mission.

I do believe a masters in oil & gas management should satisfy this. However, to make assurance double, you may want to contact OFID via the link to their official website that has been provided above. Regards!

  14. Hello!
I have a conditional offer in one ofbthe universities in UK, but my CGPA is 2.57 on a scale of 5.0.
I would love to still apply, what do you advice please?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Aniekan, your CGPA disqualifies you. However, because OFID uses a 4 point score, you may want to first convert your 5-point CGPA score to a 4-point score to compare with theirs.

      Delete
    2. Going by what you are saying, that means my CGPA at 4 point scale is 2.10

      Delete
    3. Exactly! And that is a serious reason why your application may not be processed if you go on to apply. However, if you still want, you can go on to apply since there is no harm in trying it out. Bear in mind, though, that the odds are stacked against you.
