The Carnegie Mellon University offers postdoctoral positions to eligible and well-rounded candidates. These Postdoctoral Positions are Short-term fellowships for recent PhD graduates.
A postdoctoral fellowship in medical robotics is currently available in the Medical Instrumentation Laboratory in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon. The position will involve theoretical and experimental aspects of research in needle steering.

The candidate should have a strong background in finite element modeling, design, and control systems, with practical experience in fabrication of mechanisms.
The candidate will work with graduate students, undergraduates, and staff in the Medical Instrumentation Laboratory, as well as surgeons at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
