Scholarship Description
The University of Westminster offers several scholarships to international students from developing countries, including students from Uganda.

In partnership with the Bright Futures Charity, the University of Westminster offers the Uganda Scholarship.

This scholarship is meant to benefit a student from Uganda, who has experienced great hardship in the troubled areas of Uganda, especially the northern area of the country.


Eligibility
You must be from Uganda, and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree at the University.

This is a ‘closed’ scholarship in conjunction with the Bright Futures Charity.

Criteria:
Academic excellence (i.e. minimum Upper Second Class Honours or above), development potential and financial need.

Eligible groups
Citizens of Uganda ONLY

University of Westminster, in the UK

Fields of study
All programs taught at the university

Number of awards
One award is offered every year

Sponsorship duration
This is a FULL scholarship - the award covers the complete duration of your masters programme

Scholarship benefits
The value and amount of the scholarship includes:
full tuition fee waivers, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Method of Application
You can apply for a scholarship at the University of Westminster if you have been offered either a conditional or unconditional place but please note that you must apply for the scholarship before your course starts.

However, ensure that you are eligible by meeting up with the selection criteria on which this scholarship is awarded (see 'Selection criteria' above).

The deadline date for submission of applications is 25 April 2014 (for September 2014 intake).
