Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited (also simply, Harmony Gold) is pleased to announce its 2011-2012 Harmony Bursary Scheme for South African students and permanent residents to pursue selected courses at accredited institutions of higher learning in South Africa.
Bursary from the scheme will only cover funding for approved courses, including Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Finance.
The objective of the Harmony Bursary Scheme is to recruit and select bursars for full time study at accredited Tertiary Institutions. By educating, training and developing individuals who demonstrate the appropriate skills, knowledge and competence, value creation is sustained for the company and all it’s stakeholders.
Eligibility
Applicants must be South African citizens or legal permanent residents of South Africa.
Preference is given to the following fields, which are functional to the mining industry: Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Finance.
