Scholarship Description
The Canadian Western Agribition Scholarship program is intended to provide financial support and incentive to young people in order to pursue post-secondary and graduate education.
The funding for the scholarship program is derived from a variety of Agribition activities, as well as from recognized outside contributions.
The Canadian Western Agribition 2013 is pleased to offer a scholarship of $1,500 for full time students!
Eligibility
The scholarship program is open to students that have participated in Canadian Western Agribition as an exhibitor which include all livestock classes, 4-H classes, and active trade exhibit participation.
The applicant must be in their second or subsequent year in a program of at least two years duration.

To both Canadian and non-Canadian students of ANY nationality who fulfill the 'Eligibility' above

Number of awards
Not specified. The number of scholarships awarded will be based on merit and will be at the discretion of the CWA Scholarship Committee. Students may only receive 2 CWA scholarships in their academic career.

Covers cost of the second or subsequent year of a post-secondary or graduate education program
Scholarship benefits
$750 will be awarded upon proof of academic standing at the end of the first semester. The remaining $750 will be awarded at the end of March. The payments will be disbursed to the applicant's educational institution in two installments.
