Drama For Life, DFL, enhances the capacity of communities to take responsibility for the quality of their lives. It achieves this through a responsive integrated approach in Arts Activism, Development, Education and Therapies which are appropriate to current social realities and cognisant of the rich indigenous knowledge of Africa.
Through the Performing and Visual Arts, DFL focus on: Capacity Development in HIV/Aids education, activism and therapy Human Rights and Social Justice Peace building, Transformation and Diversity Management and Environmental Sustainability.
This is a call for scholarship applications for the 2012 Drama For Life enhances scholarship programme at University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Your application deadline will depend on whether you are a South African or a non-South African.
International students must submit all applications, with supporting documentation, on or before 30th October 2011; while the deadline date for all South Africans is 30th November 2011. Please note that the latter deadline is for South Africans Only.

Drama for Life is Africa's leader in interdisciplinary and integrated approach to Applied Drama, Arts Education and Drama Therapy. It is hosted by the University of Witwatersrand (Wits) School of Arts.
