Scholarship Description
The Bischoff Family established an endowed scholarship, the INSEAD Bischoff Family Endowed Scholarship, to support future participants from southern Africa and South-East Asia who demonstrate both merit and financial need.
Candidates from countries bordering South Africa (as well as Mauritius) and from South-East Asian countries (except for Korea and Japan) are eligible.
The Bischoff family has a long-standing relationship with INSEAD and strong links to both of these regions: Sir Win Bischoff attended the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and has worked extensively in South-East Asia; Christopher Bischoff (MBA '00D) and his brother Charles were both born in Hong Kong and have worked in the region.
Eligibility
Candidates admitted to the INSEAD MBA Programme from these two regions who stand out in terms of previous academic achievement and who require financial assistance.

Citizens of countries of Southern Africa (including Mauritius); AND South-East Asia (except for Korea and Japan)
Participating Institutions
INSEAD Business School.

Method of Application
All INSEAD scholarship applications are online except where otherwise mentioned in the scholarship description. All scholarship applications will be reviewed right after the deadline. To be considered for the INSEAD Bischoff Family Scholarship, you must complete the Diversity Scholarship application and also answer the essay question.

DEADLINES:
Each year, the submission of applications is for two classes -- the July class (starts in September) and the December class (starts in January). Each of these classes have three application rounds, and deadline dates are as shown below. Applications must be complete and submitted by 23:59 CET on the day of deadline. INSEAD regrets it cannot accept any scholarship applications after the deadlines.
For the July 2019 class, application submissions for Round 1 OPENS 23rd October 2017 and CLOSE 6th November 2017; while Round 2 applications OPEN 15 January 2018 and CLOSE 29 January 2018; while Round 3 applications OPEN 5 March 2018 and close 19 March 2018.
For the December 19 Class, application submissions for Round 1 OPENS 23rd April 2018 and CLOSE 7th May 2018; while Round 2 applications OPEN 11th June 2018 and CLOSE 25th June 2018 while Round 3 OPENS 30 July 2018 and CLOSES 13 August 2018.
