Scholarship Description
The University of Pretoria calls for scholarship applications for Undergraduate Achievement Bursaries for citizens and permanent residents of South Africa for the 2011-2012 academic session.
In reality, students do not actually need to 'apply' for these bursaries during their course applications. These Undergraduate Achievement Bursaries are awarded automatically to registered new undergraduate students who meet the bursary criteria.
Students, who qualify for a new undergraduate achievement bursary and obtained more than 60% for Mathematics Paper 3, receive an additional R2 000.
Eligibility
The Bursary criteria for the current academic session:
- Qualifying students must be South African citizens or permanent residents in South Africa or hold citizenship in a SADC country.
- These students must undertake study at UP for the first time after completion of the Grade 12 examinations. Students who were registered at another educational institution prior to registration at UP, are excluded for award purposes

The Achievement Bursaries will be paid to cover your needs at University of Pretoria. Students, who qualify for a new undergraduate achievement bursary and obtained more than 60% for Mathematics Paper 3, receive an additional R2 000.

Applications for your courses are to be made online. You do not need to make any extra application for the bursaries
