Scholarship Description
Scholarships and fellowships provide significant recognition and monetary reward for students who continue to strive for academic success.
The University of Canterbury offers over $12.5 million in scholarships and prizes annually to help fund its students study. This Scholarship is specifically targeted at Domestic and International Students.
The Admiral Sir Gordon Tait University Scholarship scholarship was established in memory of Admiral Sir Gordon Tait who was a pupil at Timaru Boys’ High School from 1935 to 1939, the son of A G Tait, Rector of Timaru Boys’ High School from 1935 to 1947.
Eligibility
Pupils of Timaru Boys High School enrolled in a full-time course of study at the University of Canterbury. A student undertaking a gap year may defer taking up the scholarship for one year.
