The G-BAM Scholarships, a major aspect of Globacom's youth program - the G-BAM Hi5ive program, empowers both the Secondary and Tertiary (University, College of Education, Polytechnic) student community in Nigeria by offering a scholarship of $5 million for 1,000 students.

The G-BAM Hi5ive program offers the lowest call tariff ever in the Nigerian market, allowing subscribers call five special numbers at only five kobo per second, and offers a unique proposition to Nigerian youths by making the immensely popular social networking site Facebook free. It also offers subscribers several other attractive benefits including free airtime and free night calls.

Through the G-BAM Hi5ive program, Globacom Nigeria joined large companies like ABC Transport, MTN, Shell, Total and other company-funded financial aid providers to award scholarship offers to Nigerian students since 2012.

Eligibility
To be eligible, the following must apply:

• You must be a Glo G-Bam Hi 5ive customer (To migrate, dial *100*5*1#)
• You must recharge at least a cumulative of N500 in a month.
• You must be enrolled in either a secondary school or a tertiary institution in Nigeria

Eligible groups
Citizens of Nigeria ONLY i.e. ALL aspiring Nigerian students

Number of Awards
One thousand (1,000) every year - 250 students will be selected every quarter

Scholarship Benefits
5000 US Dollars ($5,000) worth of scholarship for 250 students every quarter.

Method of Application
You must complete and submit an online application and questionnaire to be considered for the award of the Glo G-Bam scholarship. Hardcopy submissions will not be accepted.

Globacom reserves the right to cross check any personal and educational information you submit on the form with relevant bodies including officials of your institution.

Incomplete and/or inaccurate submissions will be disqualified. If you are selected for the award of the G-Bam scholarship, you will be notified.
