Scholarship Description
The Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, England offer a range of scholarships for international students beginning a full-time postgraduate taught course.

The Africa Scholarship opportunity is for overseas students from Africa applying to any MA or MSc course in the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, to start their studies in September 2016.

These scholarships are available for students who are ordinarily resident in Africa.

Eligibility
The scholarship award is open to all African postgraduate taught offer holders with the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment.

To be eligible for the African Scholarship you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
  • be a self-funding international student designated as an overseas fee payer;
  • be ordinarily resident of a country in Africa;
  • apply for one of the School’s MA or MSc courses to start your studies in September 2016, and be offered a place on the course.

The scholarship will be worth to cover 50% of course fees (i.e up to half tuition fee - it is a partial scholarship)

Method of Application
To apply for a scholarship you must already hold an offer to start a full-time degree course at NTU. You’ll need to complete an International Scholarship application form – make sure you fill in all sections. Send your completed form to international@ntu.ac.uk before 4pm GMT by one of the deadline dates below.

DEADLINES:
There are three application deadline dates - Wednesday 24 February 2016 (first closing date), Wednesday 27 April 2016 (second closing date), and Wednesday 22 June 2016 (final closing date).

If your application is received after 4pm GMT NTU will consider it for the next deadline. NTU will contact you with their assessment decision within three weeks of the deadline.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public university in Nottingham, England. It was founded as a new university in 1992 from Trent Polytechnic (later Nottingham Polytechnic). Its roots go back to 1843 with the establishment of the Nottingham Government School of Design which still exists within the university today. It is the 17th largest university in the UK (out of 163) with its students split over three different campuses.

Nottingham Trent University was ranked in the number 700 and above (701+) category in the world by the QS World University Rankings. In 2008 The Complete University Guide named Nottingham Trent the "top post-1992 University" in the country. The university has "one of the best employability records of any university in England and Wales".
