Scholarship Description
Taylor's University offers several forms of financial aid to for prospective International Students wishing to undertake undergraduate studies at the school.
These aid are in the form of scholarships (International Students Tertiary Merit Scholarship), bursaries (Taylor’s Education Group (TEG) Students Bursary AND Taylor’s Continuing Student Waiver) and financial aid waivers (Alumni Family Tuition Fee Benefits AND Taylor’s Continuing Student Registration Fee Waiver).
Eligibility
Only students intending to complete the full programme at Taylor’s University, Malaysia (except for Bachelor of Laws programme) will be considered for this scholarship. Please see Taylor’s Law Scholarship (International Student).
This offer is applicable to non-Taylor’s students only (i.e. current students are NOT eligible).
It is NOT applicable to students progressing from Top-Up Programmes.
Selection criteria:
Application by selection and interview may be required for all categories. Bursary Committee to determine based on Academic Merits, ECA involvement, talents and financial needs.

Number of awards
This is not fixed, it is decided by the university every year. The University reserves the right to decide on the number of scholarships to be awarded.
Sponsorship duration
Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year.
Scholarship offered is valid for the duration of the programme offered and strictly cannot be transferred to any other programmes at Taylor’s University.
Scholarship recipients are required to meet a minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year in order to enjoy the scholarship / study grant in the subsequent years (where relevant). Failure to meet such academic requirement will have the scholarship / study grant terminated.
Scholarship benefits
Students are entitled to only ONE (1) scholarship / bursary / waiver at any one time including sponsorship from other institutions/bodies. The one with the highest quantum will automatically apply. However, students are still entitled to the alumni family discount.
Entitlements include:
- RM20,000 tuition fee waiver per year or
100% tuition fee waiver per year (whichever is lower) - RM8,000 tuition fee waiver per year
- RM4,500 tuition fee waiver per year

The Bursary Committee reserves the right to reject incomplete application forms.

The Scholarship Closing Date: 6 Weeks Before Intake Date.

All scholarships, bursaries and grants offered by Taylor’s University to any student are at the absolute discretion of Taylor’s University Bursary Committee.
All scholarships / bursaries / waivers offered by Taylor’s University are subject to the terms and conditions.
All the Scholarship / Bursary applications must fulfil the Scholarship / Bursary and Academic Entry Requirements
Scholarship recipients will be required to sign an agreement accepting the terms and conditions of the scholarship. Recipients who fail to comply with all the terms and conditions of the scholarship will be required to pay back 100% of total scholarship amount disbursed to him / her by Taylor’s University.
All scholarship recipients are required to undergo a Scholars Development Programme during the duration of their scholarship, including performing a specified number of hours of unpaid work within the University.
