The National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) Nigeria chapter is happy to offer the 14th NIIT Nigeria Scholarship as the IT industry in Nigeria is estimated to be among the fastest growing IT industries in the world.
NIIT Nigeria chapter conducts the IT Scholarship exam every year to help identify meritorious students to join this industry and be a part of the global skilled IT Talent pool. Over the last 13 years, NIIT Scholarships have become one of the most awaited events in the annual events calendar of the country. With a thrust on creating skilled manpower for the Nigerian IT industry, the NIIT Nigeria Scholarship will help students get skilled for a Global career in IT through training in technology.
Asia’s largest IT trainer, The National Institute of Information Technology – NIIT on Tuesday announced the 14th NIIT Nigeria IT Scholarship 2013, to enable meritorious students seek a career in the fast growing IT sector in the country. These students, post successful training, will go on to join the IT industry In Nigeria and become a part of global skilled IT Talent pool.
Eligibility
Application is open for Secondary school leavers, College, Polytechnic and University students, graduates and postgraduates (Employed and Unemployed). The Scholarship has always been open for the following category of youths who desire to become specialists in information technology related fields:
- ‘O’ Level
- ‘A’ Level
- Undergraduate Students
- IT Graduate (Employed and Unemployed)
- Non-IT Graduate (Employed and Unemployed)
- Postgraduate (Employed and Unemployed)

Scholarship benefits
The NIIT Nigeria Scholarship program is a fee waiver on an IT training program of your choice depending on your performance in the Scholarship test and interview. By taking part in the NIIT Nigeria scholarship program you stand a chance of getting fee waiver on your IT training at NIIT. Depending on your performance in the NIIT scholarship qualifying test, you may get up to 100% fee waiver on your IT training at NIIT Nigeria.
Method of Application
