Scholarship Description
This is to inform the general public (and especially indigenes of Andoni and Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Areas, Rivers State) that applications for the 2014/2015 Hon. Dakuku Peterside Overseas Post-Graduate Scholarship is ongoing.
By this announcement, the Andoni-Opobo-Nkoro Economic Zone Development Foundation is inviting all qualified to participate in the Hon. Dakuku Peterside Overseas Post-Graduate (12-month Masters Degree) Scholarship Programme for 2014/2015 academic session.
Applications for this scholarship award are therefore hereby invited from duly qualified candidates who meet the requirements as clearly stated below.
Eligibility
Requirements for this scholarship include the following:
- Candidate must be an indigene of Andoni or Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State
- Not above 35 years of age
- Graduate of a recognized University with not Less than Second-Class Lower Division at the under-graduate Level in the courses Listed above
- Year of graduation not earlier than 2004 academic session
- Must have gained admission to study any of the courses in the institutions listed above for the 2014/2015 academic session
Citizens of Nigeria who are indigene of Andoni or Opobo/Nkoro LGA of Rivers State

Every year the Andoni-Opobo-Nkoro Economic Zone Development Foundation sends Andoni and Opobo/Nkoro graduates to the United Kingdom to pursue masters degree programme in their chosen fields.
