Every year HEINEKEN employs graduates directly into different roles across its business and through its graduate recruitment schemes in some of its local markets.

The IGP Programme will provide you with a truly global experience, designed for our fully internationally mobile leaders of tomorrow that will add value to our business from day 1. Your journey will begin with the first of three one-year assignments, exploring our operating companies, different cultures and experiencing different challenges within a specific function.

HEINEKEN International Graduate Programme (HEINEKEN IGP)

Eligibility
At HEINEKEN the Company is driven forwards by having the right people in place and allowing these professionals to fulfil their potential. Application is not open for HEINEKEN employees, with exception of interns

Selection Criteria:
GLOBALLY MOBILE
  • Have a desire to live and work abroad, anywhere in the world, including hardship countries
  • Preferably already lived outside your home country, and a candidate should have a genuine interest for other countries and cultures
  • The ambition to have an international career
LEADERSHIP
  • To have proven leadership skills gained from collaborations in groups
BACKGROUND
  • Have no more than 2 years of professional work experience (volunteering and internships do not count)
  • Have a degree or will graduate before September 2018 – preferably a Masters.
  • Preferably speaks multiple languages, but the candidate should at least speak business fluency in English.
    • If applying to Finance, you need a Bachelor in Finance, Economics, Business or a similar field
    • If applying for Procurement, your degree needs to be in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or any other technical discipline
    • There is no specific degree requirement for Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain, Corporate Affairs, GIS (IT), or Human Resources, however we do believe that you should have affinity with the chosen Function.
  • Marketing & Sales applicants should have a drivers’ license

Programme duration
You will spend 3 years getting to know the HEINEKEN operating companies by doing three one-year assignments in three different countries within a specific function.

The 70:20:10 Learning Philosophy - HEINEKEN uses a self-directed 70:20:10 learning philosophy, where 70% of learning is derived from ‘on-the-job’ experiences, 20% through relationships and feedback and the remaining 10% is delivered by formal training programmes.

As of 2017, Heineken owns over 165 breweries in more than 70 countries. Heineken's Dutch breweries are located in Zoeterwoude, 's-Hertogenbosch and Wijlre.
