LYFECAMP is proud to present the first annual edition of Lifting Youth and Fostering Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (LYFECamp) to be held in Lagos in June 2014.
The Lifting Youth and Fostering Entrepreneurship bootcamp (LYFECAMP) Lagos is a 3-day bootcamp organized to help promising Nigerian entrepreneurs take their ventures to the next level.
This programme is open to undergraduate and postgraduate Nigerians. Accommodation, transportation (to and from Lagos) and feeding of each participant will be taken care of. In addition, each LYFEcamper will be given free PC tablets. Participation is absolutely free of charge.
LYFECAMP 2014 SELFIE CONTEST

Eligibility
You must be an undergraduate or postgraduate student in Nigeria and you must be under 30!
If your project is a team project, each member of your team should apply separately with the same idea.

LYFECamp is an intensive conference designed specifically to help LYFEcampers take their businesses to the next level.
Fields of study
LYFECamp's demanding program includes pitching and sales workshops, marketing initiatives, sector-specific critiquing, and mentoring sessions with the all-star sponsors and partners.
Number of awards
LYFECamp will connect Nigeria's 25 most promising undergraduates and postgraduate entrepreneurs with each other and with resources necessary for success.

This first annual edition is to be held in Lagos between June 19th-22nd, 2014
Scholarship benefits
Participation is absolutely free of charge. 3 days accommodation, feeding and transport to and from Lagos for each participant will be taken care of. In addition, each LYFEcamper will be given free PC tablets.
During the conference, LYFECampers will be invited to present their products in a competitive environment, including a pitch competition, attended by investors and other entrepreneurs. The five top pitches, chosen by a panel of esteemed judges, will be chosen to receive a grand prize package, offering them the tools they need to establish their startups.
Method of Application
Just a few rules to note if you want to apply. Make sure you are eligible (see 'Eligibility' above). This bootcamp is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate Nigerians who are under the age of 30 in Nigeria. Please, apply before the deadline.

LYFECAMP’s vision is to create an annual bootcamp where the most promising high-tech Nigerian entrepreneurs can come to learn how to pitch to angel investors and venture capitalists. This first edition targets both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
We help entrepreneurs move to the next level by helping them solve their biggest challenge, whether it be marketing, technical, or otherwise, giving them skills to grow their organization, and finally, introducing them to the connections they need to make things happen. During the conference, our “cadets” will be invited to present their products in a competitive environment, including a pitch competition, attended by investors and other entrepreneurs.
Nigeria and Africa have been, and will continue to be, transformed by the impact of the Internet and mobile devices. There will be many new ventures created that can possibly change the way the average person lives, but many of these ventures will need capital to fund their growth and emergence. It is widely known that raising capital is an arduous and time-consuming endeavor and LYFECAMP will streamline the process through its bootcamp and its platform. By streamlining this process, we will be able to get the transformative ventures that will improve the quality of life the funding they need so they can focus on building incredible ventures.
