The Africa Scholarship Program is funded by the European Union and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE) through this unique scholarship opportunity.

The Scholarship aims to contribute to Africa by helping to develop highly skilled and culturally adept individuals who want to pursue academics in Europe.

The Scholarship is in two (2) categories - Undergraduate and Post Graduate.

The Scholarship Program is now open for applications.

Eligibility
Candidates must be citizens or must have lived in Africa for 15 years.

This applications is only for freshers, current beneficiaries and or members of their family need not apply.

Number of awards
A total of 7500 Slots per Annum - 3000 Slots for Europe and 4500 Slots for Africa.

Sponsorship duration

Scholarship benefits
The scholarship is 100% tuition, books and accommodation free.

Successful applicant will be responsible for Clothing, Feeding and other personal requirement between 100€uro - 200€uro monthly depending on individual Personality.

This applications is only for freshers, current beneficiaries and or members of their family need not apply.

Interested Applicants should fill their Applications on the Online Application section of the websites of participating institutions (see links below).

Before you start this application, ensure you have a clear scanned copies of the following documents.

For both Undergraduate/Postgraduate:
  1. Passport Photograph with white background not more than 3 months old
  2. Birth Certificate
  3. Relevant Academic credentials
  4. Letter of consent/Introduction from Parents/Guardian
  5. Letter of Good conduct from Previous Teacher/Lecturer.

Application closes on June 14th 2014

PLEASE NOTE:
The EU (European Commission/DG Education and Culture) offers a large number of scholarships to students coming from European Neighbourhood Policy countries/Africa for Undergraduate/ post-graduate studies at selected College in Europe during the academic year 2014-2015. These scholarships cover academic expenses, accommodation and books.
