Scholarship Description
The University of Arts London (UAL) offers the Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate Scholarships consisting of the Vice-Chancellor's International Postgraduate Scholarships AND the Vice-Chancellor's UK and EU Postgraduate Scholarships to both International and UK/EU students respectively.

The Vice-Chancellor's Postgraduate International Scholarships aim to fully support 10 students from countries with low economies and who have already applied to study a qualifying full-time masters degrees starting in 2016/2017.

The Scholarship program applies to any full time qualifying Masters course offered in the university. And applications are currently on-going for the 2016 Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships at the University of Arts London.

Eligibility
You need to be ordinarily resident in one of the low income economy countries as defined using the World Bank Atlas method (see official scholarship site for list) to begin to meet the eligibility criteria. In your application you’ll be asked to evidence with documentation that you are ordinarily resident in a qualifying country e.g. copy of your immigration documents, ID card or formal evidence of your address.

You must have applied to study a full-time taught masters course at one of UAL’s six Colleges starting in the academic year of 2016/17. Your course must offer either an MA, MDes, MFA, MRes or MSc qualification. Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert), Graduate Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, M ARCH, MBA, distance learning, blended learning and online courses do not qualify.

In addition, if you already hold a postgraduate taught qualification from studies undertaken in the UK or abroad, you are not eligible to apply for a UAL Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate Scholarship.

Acceptance of the scholarship offer is on the condition that you will return to your home country on completion of your taught masters course.

Scholarship benefits
The scholarship amount is £25,000 which covers the cost of tuition fees, accommodation and other costs associated with moving to and studying in the UK.
