Scholarship Description
The David Oyedepo Foundation, DOF, aims to provide opportunities for gifted and talented African students with proven superior academic abilities to pursue undergraduate programs in Nigeria. The David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship program is the major platform for promoting the vision and goals of the David Oyedepo Foundation.

The DOF scholarship program awards scholarships to qualified individuals who are indigenes and residents of African countries, and have been offered admission in some of the top universities in Nigeria.

The DOF scholars program grants individuals the opportunity to acquire a first degree at two of the top schools on the African continent. It grants individuals the opportunity to build up the leadership potentials that are so evidently lacking in the leaders of our today’s society, through the yearly programs and community development initiatives.

David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Program

Eligibility
In order to apply for the DOF Scholarships program, you must:
  1. Be a national and resident of an African nation.
  2. Not be more than 23 years old at time of application
  3. Have secured admission to an approved Undergraduate course at Landmark or Covenant University
  4. Possess an internationally recognized high school diploma or its equivalent with superior academic record.
  5. Have proficiency in oral and written English.
  6. Be in good health.
  7. Not have already enrolled in undergraduate degree programs.
Each scholarship awardee becomes a David Oyedepo Foundation Scholar (DOF scholar) and is expected to meet up with the requirements each year for maintaining the scholarship program.

Sponsorship duration
The DOF scholarship is for 4 or 5 years, this is subject to university stipulated time for course completion. The maximum duration of scholarship award is 5 years for undergraduate programs.

All applicants are awarded full scholarship for the duration of their study, however a yearly review of scholarship is carried out every year to ensure candidate remains worthy of scholarship award.

Scholarship benefits
The full tuition fee is covered. The scholarship program covers all study and travel expenses for the duration of the course of study.

Interested applicants must meet the stipulated eligibility criteria. To apply for the 2017/2018 David Oyedepo Scholarship Program, you must fill in and submit an online application form via the official application portal. It is strongly recommended that you read the online instructions and refer to them while completing your application. Proof of Admission into Landmark University and Covenant University is required only at the point of Scholarship award. Hence scholarship applications can be submitted before course admission letters have been received.

Applications for the 2017/2018 academic session has commenced. The deadline is Wednesday May 17, 2017 GMT + 01.00.

PLEASE NOTE:
Even though the Foundation is connected to Landmark University and Covenant University, the DOF Foundation does not process course admissions. All inquiry for admission should be directed to the Universities.

Covenant University is located in Ota, Ogun State in Nigeria. It is a Private Christian University and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. In January 2015, it was ranked as the best university in Nigeria according to Webometrics.

Landmark University is located in Omu-Aran, Kwara State in Nigeria. It is a Private Christian University, and has colleges with state of the art facilities in place. Colleges include: College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Business and Social Sciences, and College of Science and Engineering.
