Scholarship Description
The University of Hull International Office is offering a number of full tuition fee scholarships to exceptional international postgraduate students to broaden their intellectual and personal horizons and to motivate them towards high achievement.
The International Office Postgraduate Scholarship award applies to international (non-EU) students making applications for entry to a one-year postgraduate taught programme, and is payable as a credit against tuition fees only; it does not cover living expenses.
The scholarship will cover your postgraduate taught tuition fees in full.
Eligibility
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Hold, or be working towards, at least an upper second class honours degree.
- Hold the following language requirements:
- IELTS 6.5 (with no element lower than 6.0 for Law), or an equivalent language qualification recognised by the University of Hull (such as WAEC; SPM 119; Standard X11).
- Have submitted a postgraduate application form prior to completing the scholarship application.
- Have read, and agreed to, the terms and conditions of the award (found in the application form linked below).
The quality of the personal statement will be taken into consideration and must be the applicants own unassisted work.

Scholarships are not transferable between departments. Where a Scholar wishes to transfer to another programme of study in another department, the International Office is under no obligation to honour the commitment to a scholarship. Any Scholar wishing to transfer to another department will be advised to make appropriate enquiries of the new department in advance of any firm decision to transfer.

Sponsorship duration
The Scholarship is awarded for the normal period of study. No applicant shall be entitled to a scholarship in excess of the period of study for which they are originally registered.
Scholarship benefits
The Scholarship is payable as a credit against tuition fees only and does not cover living expenses.
Scholars must endeavour to support the International Office as a Student Ambassador during the course of their studies, where reasonably possible.

No application for a Scholarship shall be considered without the University having first received a postgraduate application form.
No Scholar may hold more than one University award.
