Within the Graduate Programme, Shell has a range of roles for graduates across Technical, Corporate and Commercial areas of its business.

A place on the programme will give you real responsibilities and structured training over a period of three to five years guiding you towards a successful and professionally fulfilling career. Through structured learning, hands-on projects, continuous feedback and supportive colleagues, the Shell Graduate Programme will give you the chance to grow and have impact in your chosen area.

As you would expect, there are specific skill requirements for each role in Shell. But, no matter what your particular role is, there are certain qualities you'll need if you're going to succeed with Shell.

You should enjoy being challenged. You’ll need to be good at absorbing information, analysing problems and coming up with ideas. You should have the drive, confidence and resilience to get things done.

Right from the start, you’ll be given a challenging hands-on role, working in a diverse, global environment. You’ll be supervised and mentored with frequent reviews as part of a structured development programme, agreed with you in advance.

Method of Application
Graduates or interns, applying to Shell is simple. There are four steps, and it should only take 5-10 minutes to apply. If you want to know more, speak to one of our employees or watch the video on the Shell Careers website.

1). ONLINE APPLICATION: Visit the careers section of the Shell website
2). ONLINE ASSESSMENTS & ON-DEMAND VIDEO INTERVIEW: After you’ve submitted your application, you’ll be asked to complete three online assessments
3). FINAL ASSESSMENT: a). For Graduates - A virtual assessment consists of two parts: a case study; and an interview. b). For Interns - Includes live virtual case study session, and a presentation
4). SHELL CONNECT: a). For Graduates - After successfully completing steps 1–3, you may be invited to meet your future manager and other Shell graduates. b). For Interns - Following the successful completion of steps 1–3, you will be offered a place on the Internship programme. Here, you’ll receive hands-on training and have the chance to be selected for a job at Shell.

DEADLINES:
Shell reviews applications and fills roles on a rolling basis, therefore, Shell may close particular business areas once they are filled. Application deadline depends on your country, but generally application portal opens 1st June and closes 14th June 2017
