Scholarship Description
The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (Nigeria LNG Limited) offers the NLNG Post-Primary Scholarship Award for Nigerian students from NLNG host communities who are in secondary schools across the country.

The NLNG Scholarship Awards started in 1998, as part of NLNG’s Corporate Social Responsibility to Nigerian Citizens towards enhancing human capacity development. The NLNG Post-Primary Scheme kicked off in 2012. The Scheme seeks to support high performing Basic five and/or six pupils through secondary school education.

Therefore, the management of Nigeria LNG Limited is happy to announce the invitation of interested and qualified primary school pupils in Nigerian secondary schools to apply for the 2018 Post-Primary Scholarship Award.

Eligibility
Criteria for award include:

• Must be an indigene of an NLNG host community
• Must be a Primary five or six pupil
• Must provide Basic five or six result
• Must provide attestation letter signed and stamped by the relevant Primary School Head Teacher. This must include the Head Teacher's contact number(s).
• Must provide indigene confirmation letter signed by the Community Development Committee (CDC) chairman.
• Must provide Identification Letter from Local Government Area.
• Must not be a child or ward of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited

Selection Criteria:
Prospective pupils are admitted onto the scheme based on being high performing primary five or six pupils. The best candidates are selected.

The successful beneficiaries are given yearly scholarship allowances for study in Nigerian schools.

1. Attach a recent passport-sized photograph,
2. Attach all requested documents to avoid disqualification.
3. Fill in valid contact details as these will be used to communicate status of application
4. Adhere to the criteria for this scheme to avoid disqualification
5. Be aware that only shortlisted applicants shall be invited for the selection interview/test
6. Periodically check their mail boxes and the NLNG website
