Scholarship Description
The University of East Anglia offers partial and full scholarships for international students from developing, low-income and developed countries.
The International Development Excellence Scholarships for Students from Sub Saharan Africa are partial fees awards, offered on the basis of academic excellence and personal statement.
Eligible applicants from African countries are invited to apply for the School of International Development's Scholarships for Sub Saharan African students.
Eligibility
Applicants of Sub Saharan nationality and/or domicile, holding offers to enrol for a Master's programme in the School of International Development in 2020 will be eligible for consideration.

Scholarship benefits
This scholarship is applied as a reduction to international tuition fees. Scholarships are worth £7,000
Method of Application
All eligible offer-holders from Sub Saharan Africa are automatically considered for this scholarship without any separate application. NB: This scholarship would replace any amount awarded for the Sub-Saharan Africa Postgraduate (Taught) Masters Scholarships.
DEADLINES:
Eligible candidates holding offers by 16 April 2020 will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

The School of International Development (formerly, The School of Development Studies) is a department at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England. Situated within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the School of International Development (DEV) provides a research and teaching environment (encompassing social, political, natural and environmental sciences and economics) for staff and students.
